Getting a handle to a windows control from its parent HWND

Hey guys, I have the HWND to a dialog with a picture control. How can I get a pointer to the picture control so i can change the bitmap it references? I am using Visual C++ 2005 without the MFC Thanks for any help in advance

Maybe you misread the question?

I already have the HWND to the dialog the image(VS Picture Control) is on but I want to change the bitmap it references (it is an internal resource)...

You surely know the resource ID of the picture control?

In that case call GetDlgItem with the HWND of the direct parent of the picture control. This returns you the HWND from the picture control.
