Hi. I'm trying to develop a game in c++ and directx, a spacesim game. Now, i've implemented the cube mapping for the enviroment, and i've choose a 1024x1024 face for the texture.. i think that more use too much video ram, and i want to stay into 128Mb of video ram. Now, with 1024x1024 i've to set the lens at pi/4 otherwise the bacground is too much blurred, but with pi/4 the aspect ratio between planets are not real.. see image: the moon is too much small, and i've used real dimension. a good angle is pi/16, but the background is very very blurred. Any suggestion? enviroment mapping
