Not sure whether to put this here or in the Linux forum, but I think it has more to due with the IDE than the OS. I haven't been able to run any console programs I write on my Linux install. Everything builds fine, but when I try to run it I get sh: syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")") in the shell window. I'm using CodeBlocks on Ubuntu 7.10. wxWidget examples compile and run fine, only console apps won't. I googled this and couldn't find an solution, but it seems like a problem with the IDE getting the app to run. Any help would be appreciated.

After reading that I tried to run the executable directly from the terminal, and it works. It seems like CodeBlocks is trying to run the unlinked file. The weird thing is that old projects still work fine, and I can't find any settings that are different between old and new ones.
