OpenGL Bresenham line algorithm and antialiasing

Is Bresenham line algorithm free from aliasing problem. If not, how can we implement antialiasing feature in it? Are there any other line algorithms,which support antialiasing feature? I am not using any Graphics library(openGL or DirectX) rather I am in the process of developing a 2D Graphics library for mobile platform. Thanks in advance. RR Graphics R&D Engineer.
