Separating axes Polytope vs Line Segment

What are the possible separating axes between a polytope and a line segment? I think I need to test the polytope face normals and the cross products between the polytope edges and the segment direction. What about testing the segment direction itself? I am not sure about this. Also any other potential axes I am missing? Thanks, -Dirk

For me, I'd think of a segment as a squashed oriented box. Then you have two axes. The segment dir, and the vector perpendicular to the segment dir.

There would be infinite directions perpendicular to the segment direction, right? Did you read polygon instead of polytope (convex polyhedron)?
