hey folks, at my university we were to write a game using XNA. (It wasn't our choice, we were forced to...) The focus was on game-design and rapid prototyping. This is the final iterated version of our 2nd prototype. We had about 3-4 month of developing time and weekly meetings for crticism with the whole group. It's an innovative game I think. There's not a certain category in which it fits but I'd say it's a realtime, strategy, war-puzzle-game.
