Hi, I am creating a bitmap at runtime. I have a handle to the bitmap (HBITMAP). Now, I want to display the bitmap I have created. How can I do it WITHOUT saving the bitmap to disk and then using LoadImage? Thanks, M

Create a memory device context using the CreateCompatibleDC function, then select your bitmap into it using SelectObject. After that, you can use that DC as the source for a BitBlt (or StretchBlt) operation.

Theres an old (but still good) tutorial hosted here at gamedev that discusses loading and drawing bitmaps using GDI. Also FYI, you can use GDI+ if you want to access GDI through an object-oriented interface.
