Visual Studio and Opengl

Does Visual Studio in the latest versions come with opengl libraries embedded along with its other libraries? because when i compile and opengl related code i need not specifically include the opengl library in the project properties...

acually, i believe microsoft's openGL implementations are only 1.1, which is really outdated. to compensate, you use extensions.

but then again, this is from reading "beginning openGL game programming" , and i'm not sure if that is still the case

what version of visual studio are you using? I found that I still need to include the header files and link in the appropriate libraries.
