Does anyone know of a good reference to enable me to learn how to use the TGEA? Books, tutorial sites, and reference sites will all be nice.

Well, you can use the documentation that GarageGames gives you... provided you have actually bought the engine (hence the benefit of buying it).

The problem is that there is a company that is currently using the engine, but I need to be familiar with the engine now while they are in the design phase so that I can be able to start coding once they enter the development stage.

TorqueScript is a really simple and easy to use language.

Here's a good tutorial to start off: The TorqueScript Language
Here to learn :)
Torque Script? Can't I do it with C++?

Thanks for the link!

You can use both, C++ an Torque Script, torque script is more simple, than C++ and is realy cool to control the world entity and the IA, and in c++ you can code a new features and the use it from the Torque Script
You can use C++ yes, C++ is mainly used to implement new objects/features when developing in Torque.
Here to learn :)
Thank you both for the help.
