Hi guys. I was writing some code for textures and I ran into a weird problem which didn't happen in a previous version of my class. When I called glGenTextures(1,&t) before everything worked fine. It returned 1,2 ... etc. After I made some updates it stopped being initialized through the function call. So I made the following code and it still produced the same results in both version! odd? void main(){ GLuint test; test=-1; glGenTextures(1,&test); cout<<test<<endl; } and the output is 4294967295 aka -1 in unsigned ints. I find it strange that in the base case of a trial it still produced this result. I am using GLUT. Thanks for the help and clarification.
