single vs double buffer

in using double buffer in opengl , we have to use swapbuffers(hdc) for displaying any thing . i wanna know how to use single buffered mode so that anything drawn goes to display directly without any call to swapbuffers(hdc) thanks

Err, why? You'd get horrible artefacts as you seen half triangles drawn and other stuff. It's not possible in D3D, I'd assume it's not possible in OpenGL either (Although I could be wrong, I'm not an OpenGL person).
