prevent black mipmap border?

Hi, i want to render my scene to a screen sized texture. Because my graphics card did not support NPOT Textures (Ati), i need to create a bigger POT texture. All works fine, but my Mipmaps got a black border. Sure, its because the unused parts of the texture are black ... But is there a way to prevent this effect? Thanks

You most likely have to filter the mipmap levels yourself (and upload them afterwards) and maybe add at least a one pixel border to avoid sampling black pixels.

Instead of adding a border you could also modify the texture coordinates a bit so that the black border is not sampled. This assumes texture coordinates are all in the range [0, 1].
