OpenGL GL_TEXTURE0 vs GL_TEXTURE0_ARB

Hi! I've been working for a while with jogl and shaders using the red and yellow books. Now I'm testing some multitexturing programs... but I' m really confused because I found no reference to GL_TEXTURE0_ARB in the import javax.media.opengl and neither in the books. Could someone please help me?
