What is a Cookbook?
I was looking on amazon for some programming books and I noticed that there are a lot of books called <language> cookbook.
What on earth are these please?
Thanks again
Brian.
Cookbooks assume you already know how to program. They introduce you to a new language by showing how to do certain things "the C# way" or "the java way".
Cookbook is a collection of recipes.
In the case of programming books, a recipe usually is a step by step solution to specific problem, often skipping the theorie involved.
