2D Shape Intersection - .NET GraphicsPath

Hi all, I'm making a Tanks game (google it). Things are coming out fine (usually), except one little problem: Each component's occupied region (missles and tanks are IGameComponents) is represented by a GraphicsPath. To find out if a missle collides with a terrain, I create a Region for the terrain and intersect it with the path of the IGameComponent (which here is a missle). The problem is, in order to destroy the region of the terrain, I need to modify the terrain's GraphicsPath so that it excludes the blown area. How do I do this?
