Multiple obscure undefined references
I'm compiling a game using GL, GLUT, GLEE, DevIL, Newton Game Dynamics and TriMesh2 in C++. When I hit compile I get multiple undefined references to functions like _chkstk and _ftol2.
Here's a sample:
Hello Biggoron,
I'm not sure about this but, I known the two symbols you are having problems with are functions called by code built by MSVC. So my first question would be: Have you rebuilt all of your libraries (GL, GLUT, ...) using gcc? Rather than using versions of these libraries built with MSVC.
If you mixing libraries built with different compilers (MSVC, gcc/ MinGW) this might be the cause of this problem. However I'm not sure if more recent versions gcc/ MinGW now support/ or provide work arounds for this type of linking.
Cheers,
Tom
