DirectShow problem

hi everyone, i am using DirectShow classes but i have Unresolved external symbol error, there's the error in detail: - error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol "public: virtual long __stdcall CBaseRenderer::FindPin(wchar_t const *,struct IPin * *)" (?FindPin@CBaseRenderer@@UAGJPB_WPAPAUIPin@@@Z) i linked the strbasd.lib and iam debug builds ... any suggestions ? Thanks in advance, Sawsan A.Emam

I vaguely recall that there's some helper classes that you can use with DirectShow - which is what you appear to be using. Are you adding the appropriate .cpp files for those classes to your project?

And the CBaseRenderer::FindPin function is declared as the error says? Because the linker doesn't know the function exists, usually because the file isn't added to the project.
