Shader Parameters in DirectX_9_Material

I’m trying to export using Maxscript a DirectX_9_Shader to a text file. So far I can use the mat.effectfile, mat.IDxMaterial.numberofBitmaps() and mat.IDxMaterial.geteffectbitmap i to get the name of the FX and the textures loaded. However, I can’t find any functions that let me access shader variables like a float parameter in the shader or even the name of the parameter associated with the texture. My question: If I had this code in the FX:
texture Diffuse Texture <  string UIName = "Diffuse Map";  int Texcoord = 0;  int MapChannel = 1;>;

bool bDiffuseMapEnable <  string UIName = "Diffuse Map Enable"; > = false;


How do I know using MaxScript that I have 2 parameters named Diffuse and bDiffuseMapEnabled, and how do I ask for their values? [Edited by - yeisnier on March 19, 2008 12:42:22 PM]
