I have switched to Code Blocks hearing that Dev C++ is very out of date. I have finished a small game this afternoon but I cannot make the executable. When I press Build and Run (F9) I recieve an error telling me that -Name of program- uses an invalid compiler. I do know know how to fix this, anyone using CB here who can help me? Btw, I am wondering if Build and Compile is the same thing, and if it is not, where the heck is the compile button?

you must select a compiler.

Settings -> Compiler and Debugger -> ComboBox: GNU C Compiler
and Set as Default.

Im dont remember exacly now, but i hope should work.

Yes, you need a compiler in addition to Code::blocks. As mvBarracuda says, you could download the version of code::blocks bundled with Mingw. Or you could download Mingw seperately. Both works, the first way is probably the simplest though.
