Rotate a point on a plane

Hi, I have a point on a plane which is perpendicular to the viewer. I want to tilt the plane so that the viewer now sees the plane tilted at an angle represented by the vector x,y,z. I want to calculate the new positions of a series of points on the plane. I could do it by working out the angle of the vector to the plane and rotating the points accordingly, but I feel it would be more efficient if I used the vector x,y,z. Particularly if I make the vector a unit vector. May I please have your thoughts? Maybe a little pseudo code? ;) Many thanks, Dave
