Hello all, im currently building a server for an MMOthat was just recently taken down, i need a little help/advice on the network side the protocol is TCP so therefor i know i'll have to manage all the connection in their own thread maybe? i was looking for some tutorials on how to do this..or maybe even a lib thats already made that can do this at the moment? thank you.

the system.net.sockets namespace has a fairly complete library for making network connections

docs

for a game server i made i had 3 main threads, the first one for listening for connection, the second held the new connection until they could provide login information and loaded their stats from the database and the third was the game thread

How massively multiplayer is it? Maybe you could take inspiration from this (by me), or the sockets library (also by me) it uses. It is basically a cover on the .Net asynchronous sockets stuff, but with some message packaging and event handlers.
