I've a doubt regarding AA BSP tree - How to choose a splitting plane ?? I'm planning to take planes that pass through center of the box and coplanar with XY, YZ or ZX as splitting planes. please guide me.

I'm talking about the above code in particular. I just can't get the functions
DistanceToZPlane, DistanceToXplane, DistanceToYplane etc etc. What does ray's origin have to do with the subdivision planes ?
