[solved] Copy buffer to texture with alpha channel

Hi, I copy the buffer to a texture each time a textarea is changed...I do this so I don't have to render TTF text each frame, but just copy the TTF text to a texture when its changed...then I can just display the texture which is much faster. I got it working, but I want the default background of the texture to be fully transparant, so when I would apply the texture I would only see the text, and not the ClearColor colour as background. Can this be done, or do we have a more elegant way of storing buffer information? PS: the text is drawn at final on a changable background...so I cannot store a background on the texture.
