Did you try installing the .Net Framework 3.5? Possibly the offline installer doesn't include it, it is a pretty big download.

If you have Vista and haven't tried it yet, disable UAC completely. It worked for me, even if you run on an administrator account, it will always fail unless UAC is off... Kinda gay a Microsoft product breaks a feature they touted for their new OS.

On the other hand, I installed it on Vista without disabling UAC (I did run the installer with admin permissions however) and experienced no difficulties what-so-ever. Unless you've got a good reason for doing so Vista users are better off leaving UAC enabled, but you are of course welcome to operate your computer as you see fit.

well im using XP sp2...what is UAC?does XP has it too?how do i disable it?
UAC. XP does actually contain some of these features, although not to the same extent and on many systems they aren't actually in use. You won't need to worry about this.

I would suggest attempting to install the framework seperately and then re-running your installer; I already had the framework installed and therefore wouldn't have experienced any difficulties potentially related to it's absense, but it seems this solved the problem for some other users, so it's certainly worth a try. Let us know if that doesn't fix the problem.
