Hy, I'm a beginner at 3d terrains. I'm using Java3D and I created a quad-based terrain, generated from a heightfield. Then I want to apply a texture to my geometry, I want the texture to be 'on top of ALL the geometry' if you understand what I mean. Now, the texture is applied to all the seperate quads and then just cut off. The texture is 1024x1024 and when I make the quads bigger, you can see a bigger part of the texture. What should I do? Thanks in advance!

Java3D is a bit outdated. You should have a look at jMonkeyEngine instead, which has very good built-in support for terrains. Just start going through the jME tutorials and you'll be pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use. The tutorials include terrains near the beginning.
