any working theora player example?

hey does anyone have a working theora player example ?
the one included is made for linux, although it has parts done via sdl, they dont use sdl sound..
tried googling for some time now and already started reducing the player example so I can find out how to make it work on windows, but thats a lot of work, so if anyone here has a better solution, I'd be very happy :)

got it partially working by removing the sound stuff, but I get a few artifacts, only some pixels, but looks weird:

weird thing is, sometimes it works, sometimes not (then it will work after some time of playback).
any ideas what this might be ?

nevermind, grabbed the latest svn and the artifacts are gone..
weird though is that the copyright notice in the svn is 2002-2003 and the latest released package is 2002-2007.

I got those artifacts when i set the post-processing level close to the max. Though I don't really know why...

well as said, getting it from svn fixed the problem.
though I'm having troubles with understanding the audio stuff, I dont have any idea about oss, does anyone have a working sdl or openal example ?
