Hey guys I'm just starting out with Flex 2.0 development and I'm really liking it. Unfortunately the Adobe reference docs are good but lack alot of depth, there are also alot of examples and tutorials online for basic things, but needless to say there is very little game-specific info only thats specific to Flex (There is alot of Flash 8.0 stuff though, for example). Does anyone know of a flourishing game development specific community for Flex where I can share my knowledge for developing games on this platform? Cheers On a side note, if anyone is proficient in Flex game development here, the Adobe reference docs say that there is a faster pixel-copying way to draw bitmaps if you do not need to apply any skewing, rotation, etc, but resources for this are scarce. My guess is that you pixel-copy directly to an Image components bitmap data? (Or to an offscreen one and double-buffer it)

It's not amazingly active but you could try http://www.actionscript.org/forums/

If you're looking for a book on this stuff, Colin Moock's "Essential ActionScript 3.0" is really good.
