Following the book i have been reading I’m currently storing my vertex declarations in a Vertex.h header file and i have a global function that initialises all of my declarations. I just wondered if there was a tidier way of doing this? Is there a standard way of storing your declarations. Right now I’m just keeping each new one i create so i have a catalogue of (albeit simple) declarations. Normally is it a good idea to keep them all in the same place? Or are they linked to the object they might be used upon? Some enlightenment please.

I often keep my declarations and typedefs in a single header. If nothing else, I don't have to remember where I declared what and go searching for the header I need to #include.

The SDK uses #pragma once liberally and, with precompiled headers, why not make it easy on yourself?
