Hi, I working on a DirectX 9 wrapper in Vista. Currently when I switch to full-screen mode, I call a reset on the graphics device. When the window changes size, my lighting messes up. It is really weird because the exact same code will work on XP without any troubles. Any suggestions? Thanks, John

Device states are lost after a reset, so you should restore them. This is the expected behaviour under all OS's, but I guess it's possible that a certain driver or runtime maintains state.

Hmm, I am pretty sure that I am doing everything right since it works in XP. I am resetting all the parameters on the graphics device... Also, it appears to be just a lighting problem. I am currently drawing a sphere and the only problem is that the sphere is darkened. I guess I should just try running my program on another vista machine. My video card on it is kind of a piece of crap :)
