Hello. Our team has been working in a multiplayer game during the last month, and we've got a lot done except for a little problem. The thing is, after connecting to the game and moving around a little bit, the client stops receiving any packet from the server. We're using RakNet, and we think it's because the connection times out or simply dies after a while (it usually breaks at 45 seconds of play). Could it be that we need to send a keep alive to maintain connection? If so, what method would it be? I'd appreciate as much help as possible. We're very short on time as we need to present our project soon, which leaves us with very little time to complete the project. Thanks in advance.

Install the RakNet source.
Turn on all kinds of logging, if available.
Else insert your own logging code in appropriate places: where packets are sent, where users are created and destroyed, for each connection coming and going, etc.
Run your application with this instrumentation, and figure out what's going wrong.
