X file load problem in release mode

hi I'm loading X files (which are generated by panda exporter for max 9 or conv3ds), there is no problem in loading and rendering them in debug mode (I use Visual C++ 6), but when I use release mode (my game should be in release mode), I get an error which seems to be related to X files, is it because of their size (when I make them smaller I have no problem), why I runs in debug, and I get error in release mode? thanks in advance
