Hi. I'd like to point some attention to a project we're developing: It's something similar to X3D and the likes, but with a bit different approach. It takes input in XML and has most basic stuff that you'd need for a simple scene. Including animating arbitrary attributes of any tag, lua scripting and particle systems. For physics simulation we're using the Newton Game Dynamics engine. There's also some limited shader support, but in very near future the engine will provide some useful uniforms, too. :) For loading geometry, the application currently supports 3DS and AN8 (Anim8or) fileformats. The project is still under development, but some feedback probably wouldn't hurt.
