Hello! I'm Night Breeze and I'm from Argentina ^^ I speak spanish but i know a little of english too (but its not so good really XD but I'll do my best). I'm 16 years old and I love programming stuff :D here I'll show you all my most recent game: It's called Twilight Fighters and it's designed under Visual Basic 2005 .NET, it's supposed to be a game but it doesn't have movements, nor sounds, nor music, its not even at full screen XD, and I don't have any knowledge about game programming yet, I'm just starting, so I made it with Windows Controls and all that stuff :P but well... I'll start explaining what is it about =) Twilight Fighters is a Freeware RPG-kind battle game, I mean, it's like an RPG, but without story: these are just the battles. Of course, it doesn't ends just there. It have lots of more stuff, like: Progress save, password character protection (account system), character levels, enemies levels, equipment (weapons and sets), custom graphics for every set, skills, items, stats (strength, defense, intelligence, magic defense, dexterity, agility), item-shop and equipment-shop, drop, 2 different characters race (human and elf) with both sexs, and two play modes: Training (Normal) and PVP (Player VS Player) These are two screenshots! =) http://i27.tinypic.com/30tnwgo.png http://i31.tinypic.com/25u2l28.png And here are the Download links! ^^ << Download Twilight Fighters >> http://files.filefront.com/Twilight+Fighters/;9660461;/fileinfo.html You also need the Microsoft's .NET Framework 2.0 to make it work, like every VB.NET application, so if you don't have it, you can download it from here: << Download .NET Framework 2.0 >> http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=0856eacb-4362-4b0d-8edd-aab15c5e04f5 It would be great if you, at least, try it! I hope you like it! :D Credits: Programming: Juan Goncebat Data Encriptation System: Marcelo Rivera Character Graphics: Gaia Interactive & Juan Goncebat Enemies Graphics: Enterbrain Background Images: Dmitry Savinoff Thank you very much!!

Looks interesting. I may have to check it out. Are there any plans down the road for a story or any sort of non-combat gameplay to be incorporated into the game?

not right now, I'm still a beginner in programming so it's hardly impossible for me XP First I would like to learn some game programming with DirectX, etc.
Thanks!
I'm not a fan of menu-driven battles, but the layout and art looks great. Good luck with your first struggles into game development.
Thank you! :D I put a lot of work on it ^^

Don't forget everybody to tell me what you think about the game if you try it! ^^
