Animation Using .X Files

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any books that cover this topic well besides Jim Adam's book? i've been reading a couple articles from gamedev, but none of them are really doing it for me. any suggestions? also, will the concepts learned from native directX animation transfer well to otehr formats? thanks

I'd check out the samples in the SDK. I forget what they're called exactly...there's one that shows you how to do basic animation with tiny.x and another that shows you how to blend between multiple animations and how to run multiple instances of the same skinned mesh.
