Hello everyone, I need to find a isometric map editor that can make 2D game maps like wordedit in starcraft. I like the major feature where you can draw one tile and it automatically creates transition tiles around it, this saves a lot of time when creating a game map. I need a program that can do this, can any one recommend me one? free the better but commercial software is fine too. I have looked at the following programs but they don'd have the feature I want. Mappy and tile studio - it dont seem to make transition tiles around it. dundjinni - I couldnt get it installed, but I'm not sure if I can import custom tils in this program. Torque Game Builder adventure kit - I'm not sure if this can do what I want, theres no free demo, so I can't try it. Any help is welcome. If anyone knows any more editors out there please let me know, thanks in advance.

why not make it yourself ?
don't count on there being general map editors available for your type of game.

I'm not a game programmer, we do art works and we only use it to produce images and eventually add extra bits in photoshop, it doesn't have to be game specific.
