I am very new to XNA (however little experience in DirectX) and so here is my sily question. SDK: XNA 2.0 I load a .X file using the Content Pipeline. The model is loaded correctly. However the loaded texture is blury. Few things I tried: * Tried playing with the mesh.effects's AmbientLight and other properties in Draw override function. * Disabled the default lighting. * RenderState's Ambient light is set to full (255,255,255) How could this problem be fixed? Thanks Aptexan

Comments, Suggestions and Ideas is definitely the wrong forum for this... moving you to Game Programming.

How big is the texture?
You might be exceeding the texture limit on the xbox, leading to downsampled textures...

Can you post the actual code you use to render the model? (don't forget to use source tags!).

Well thanks for your responses.
Actually I have figured out a workaround(may be this is not the right way to do).
When I set the SamplersState[0].MipmapsLevelOfDetails to -1 the image is sharp
It is blurry when the value is zero. So this has fixed my problem.
Thanks
