adding animations to x files

hi I want to add some animation tracks to my X files while my game is running, can I do so? I mean can I do something adding animation tracks (something like add animation in Mesh Viewer)? is it logical to do so? which one is better? adding animation tracks using mesh viewer and loading these big files or adding them using code while game is running? how can I add these anim tracks, I think it should be performed using AnimationController interface, please help me thanks
