Hello, im totaly new to opengl and i've been having some problems. Im trying to create a scene and the problem is when i assign color to one of the points that will act as a light source representator, all the scene becomes yellow(the color i assigned). What did i do wrong? glPushMatrix(); glBegin(GL_POINTS); glColor3f(1.0,1.0,0.0); glVertex3f(0.0,0.0,-5.0); glEnd(); glPopMatrix(); glPushMatrix(); glTranslatef(-4.0,0.0,-5.0); glutSolidCube(2.0); glPopMatrix();

I guess your cube is so big (or your camera too close) that you are watching everything yellow.

Did you use glclearcolor and glclear? where is your camera, are you using cameralookat? where is loadidentity?

I think if you post your code, it will be useful?

Bye
