Framebuffer extension

I was wondering, on what hardware is the framebuffer extension supported, be it hardware from NVIDIA or ATI. I'm willing to know from what model of card up, the framebuffer extension is supported.

I am not much familiar with OpenGL ... what is the framebuffer extension?

I gather he means the framebuffer object aka FBO extension.

You'll certainly get anything which supports DX9, so that from the R9500 from ATI and the GF6... well, ok, the GFFX might well support it but I try to forget that card existed due to it's major suck factor.
