Hi, I've been linking to glew32.lib with no problems, but want to link to glew32s.lib instead so I don't have to worry about glew32.dll. However, when I simply remove glew32.lib from the project and substitute it with glew32s.lib, I get linker errors for all the glew functions. I cannot figure out what the heck is going on. Any ideas? Thanks

I think I've got it. You have to #define GLEW_STATIC up front in glew.h to get this to work. Real obvious :)

After that you get an error about not finding LIBC, so you have to exclude that in the linker settings. Then it works.

you need something like #define GLEW_BUILD=GLEW_STATIC
and you can also incle glew files into your project, instead of building a library.
