I've found a tutorial on how to refer a static/dynamic library in the same solution. I'm looking for a way on how to refer a library from another solution (different folder from the solution with the libraries). This is so I wouldn't clutter my library code with project codes that refer to the library, I wanted them to be separated. Could somebody please point me to any tutorial/guide?

A visual studio solution (*.sln) is used to encompass a number of visual studio projects (*.vcproj). If you have access to a *.vcproj file that builds a library and you want to link against, add that *.vcproj to your solution.
