Ok, so simply enough, trace wont work for me. it was undeclared so im using #define TRACE #ifdef _DEBUG #define new DEBUG_NEW #undef THIS_FILE static char THIS_FILE[] = __FILE__; #endif Is that wrong? Do I need to include something?

I am not sure what the problem is but i am going to make a suggestion Tell us what compiler your useing and what langauge i assume by the debug output command you are useing C++ in the later version specificaly (Express may be others) i belive you need to access one of the tabs on the bottum side of the compiler to reach where the debug output may be placed all in all you could allways create a erro rhandler witch rights the error to file and then closes the file automaticaly via a class setup.

Regards Jouei.
