I just got my copy delivered yesterday. I've been reading through it a bit. So far up to chapter 3. I have to say, awesome book. Some of the tricky areas around the Java language are a little scary, but no language is perfect. The part about writing equals() methods that are symmetric, reflexive and transitive is really informative. Coming from C++ where the signature of the equals() method would've been much more specific, this never was a concern. I'm not sure I would've easily caught the symmetric and transitive issues had I ran into them. Was just curious if anyone else was a fan of this book. I'll post more as I get further.
