Hey there, on a combobox when the user changes the selected index the SelectionChangeCommitted event occurs, but only after the index has changed, is there anyway to determine what the previous index of the combobox was before the new change occurred. thanks

At the end of your event handler for SelectionChangeCommitted, just add:
comboBox.Tag = comboBox.SelectedIndex;
(Tag is probably most convenient, though you can of course use a class-scope variable.) For code before this line in SelectionChangedCommitted, the previous index can be accessed simply as: (int)comboBox.Tag
