Hi, For collision detection between meshes, I need to devide them into convex meshes (because my algorithem only works with convex meshes). For 2D Data, there is glu Tesselation. Does something like this for 3D meshes exist? Thanks! Nathan

Yes. One open source solution is included in John Ratcliff's "CreateDynamics" toolkit. It can take a generic mesh and do a convex decomposition. It's a bit slow-running, but he has shown it to be robust. It's kind of built to work with PhysX, but there is source code so should be adaptable to another system without too much pain.

John Ratcliff's CreateDynamics

See John's GDC 2006 (I think, or 2007) presentation for some details on his implementation.
