VMR9 fullscreen goes black on vista

I do not know if it is the right place to post my question. I am doing a project using vmr9 to render video frame. My project is based on the sample code custom allocator presenter from DX sdk. The prefered rendertarget format is MixerPref9_RenderTargetYUV, and the surface created by AllocateSurfaceHelper is offscreen surface. I am using exclusive full screen mode when create the D3D device, and the setting for the D3D device is m_D3DPP.BackBufferHeight = dm.Height; m_D3DPP.BackBufferWidth = dm.Width; m_D3DPP.FullScreen_RefreshRateInHz = dm.RefreshRate; m_D3DPP.Windowed = FALSE; m_D3DPP.BackBufferFormat = dm.Format; m_D3DPP.Flags = D3DPRESENTFLAG_VIDEO; m_D3DPP.PresentationInterval = D3DPRESENT_INTERVAL_IMMEDIATE; m_D3DPP.hDeviceWindow = m_window; m_D3DPP.SwapEffect = D3DSWAPEFFECT_COPY; m_D3DPP.BackBufferCount = 1; but when goes into full screen mode, the screen goes black on vista, but I still can heard the sound from the file. In present the image, I am using StretchRect to copy the offscreen surface to a texture surface, then draw on the screen. This code runs well on XP. I do not know why it could not run on Vista. I appreciate any help. Thanks in advance. Yong
