.3ds export to .x

Hi i've already posted a message about .x file format licencing (yeaaaahhhh it's free) and another one about .x mesh triangulation (we can do that in 3dsmax/maya) but can someone tell me how to export a 3dsmax mesh to .x text/binary file 1000 thanxxx

Google is your friend...

but seeing as you've asked...

conv3ds.exe should be in the DirectX sdk, in the binary's folder... if not do a search on it.

I do believe that was dropped quite a long time ago - might even have been a DX8-generation tool...

kW X-port for 3ds Max is also a good option to check out.

It was, but it can still be found on the internet. It was very limited in use though, I can't imagine there aren't better free alternatives available nowadays.
