Hi all, I'm working on using translating 3d max light parameters into opengl ones. Position and direction colour are fairly obvious. But does anyone know what I use for attenuation factors and specular? Max gives out light parameters but I have no idea what to use for attenuation? I'm guessing specular might be LIGHT_COLOUR*LIGHT_INTENS? Anyone any ideas? Thanks :) *LIGHT_SHADOWS Off *LIGHT_USELIGHT 1 *LIGHT_SPOTSHAPE Circle *LIGHT_USEGLOBAL 0 *LIGHT_ABSMAPBIAS 0 *LIGHT_OVERSHOOT 0 *LIGHT_EXCLUDELIST { *LIGHT_NUMEXCLUDED 2 *LIGHT_EXCLUDED_INCLUDE 0 *LIGHT_EXCLUDED_AFFECT_ILLUM 1 *LIGHT_EXCLUDED_AFFECT_SHADOW 1 } *LIGHT_SETTINGS { *TIMEVALUE 0 *LIGHT_COLOR 1.0000 0.8549 0.7843 *LIGHT_INTENS 0.8000 *LIGHT_ASPECT -1.0000 *LIGHT_TDIST -1.0000 *LIGHT_MAPBIAS 0.0000 *LIGHT_MAPRANGE 0.0000 *LIGHT_MAPSIZE 0 *LIGHT_RAYBIAS 0.2000 }
