Game Developing Job
I want to become a game developer, but I've read many responses to a certain thread that I should just go for a regular CS Bachelors Degree. So my question is, Will I still be able to apply to a game development company with this degree or will I have to attend a graduate program?
You will still be able to apply to a game dev company with a regular undergrad CS degree. The degree will be more of a "oh, good, they can finish something big/lengthy, and they've got a pretty solid background", your portfolio will show off your actual skills.
Alright, thank you very much. Another question is that you can only get one degree in college at a time right? Sorry, I'm only a sophomore in high school so I don't know much =/
Most schools will allow you to double major, which is more or less the same as getting multiple degrees.
So that would enable me to get a game development degree and a copmuter information sciences degree?

Techniqually I beleive you can, but if you expect to get it done in the same amount of time as getting one degree remember that your taking on a double workload.
In my opion I think it's better to do one formal schooling at one time, maybe if you can work a little in the other if it seems productive. Other than that it's best to keep a balance of independant work and formal education. But that's just me. I'm going to be going into traditional art and doing 3d modeling on the side and with any other extra free time I'll be learning programming and music.
Overall it's up to you, just make sure you can take a workload that you can handle.
Alright, thanks. I think that it's gonna be alot of hard work but its what I want to do. Time to find a college.

Time to find a college.
You'll probably find several. To choose between them, use a decision grid.
