To be honest from what I've seen none of them seem that good... To me they seem to combine a little multimedia with a little computer science. At first I was going to apply for one but I'm happy doing CS now :D

Where are you migrating from? It's not neccesarily a bad idea, as both living conditions and the general level of education here is quite good.

However, you may wish to consider a more traditional programming (or visual arts, you didn't specify an area of interest) degree rather than one focussed on games - see this article "on game schools" for some more reading on the subject.

Thanks for the valuable link and information jbadams. But currently i have no specific interest. Well at least , i have 2 more years to think. Since i'm migrating after o levels which is 2 and years from now. Most probably i'll be taking up level designing.

But may i know , which area of game developement earns the most? hehe.

Oh, I dunno. Owning a major publishing company probably. For that I suggest a business degree from a top-tier school (networking is important for these things!).

Seriously though, if you go into game development for the money and not because you love it then you're probably going to hate it. At least that's what I hear.

I agree that it's a bad question. But to find the answer, just read the GameCareerGuide Salary Survey. Nerb, you need to do more research on what it is you're getting into.
